Mindy McPherson

Bio

I am currently a senior at Western Oregon University and work as an intern at Integrity First Financial. I am being challenged daily and appreciate the learning opportunities this company has provided for me. I couldn’t ask to be part of a better team. In the spring of 2012 I will be graduating with my degree in business with an accounting focus. I have so much to look forward to and so many goals that I am excited to achieve.

I graduated from Cascade High school in Turner, Oregon. That is where I met, and eventually married, my high school sweetheart. We started a family soon after and are the proud parents of three amazing boys. In 2007 I decided to leave my retail management job of 14 years to pursue my longtime interest of accounting. With the support of my husband, I decided to go back to school and turn my family’s life upside-down for the next 4 years.

My family and I spend a lot of time camping, swimming, and going on road trips where we can take advantage of the awesome variety of activities the Northwest has to offer. I personally look forward to short hikes and museums to explore and learn about the history and geology of the area. Staying home, watching a movie or playing games together is also very satisfying. I spend as much time as I can to help in my kids’ schools. I tutor math students at a local middle school. I also decorate the sanctuary and stage before Sunday service or volunteer my time for other services at our church.
