Community Comes Together For Charity Hole-in-One Challenge

SALEM, Oregon (March 20th, 2010)- The Salem Young Professionals group teamed up with nine local builders and architects, 40 local high school students through the Leadership Youth Program, developer of Rivers Condominiums, Best Little Road house, Lowes Hardware, Exchange club of Salem, and title sponsor Integrity First Financial to produce the first Charity Hole-in-One Challenge!

Beginning Thursday March 11th, local builders and architects received their materials and had one week to produce one mini-golf hole each! The mini-golf course will be on the ground floor of the new Rivers Condominium building downtown on Front Street. All the proceeds will go to support leadership development in our Leadership Youth Program and Salem Young Professionals.

On Friday March 19th the Salem Young Professionals will have their monthly event from 6:00-8:00pm, and be the first to play the course. On Saturday March 20th the course will be open to the public from 10am-6pm for one day only. Trophy’s will be given to winners and food will be available on site. Each golfer will vote on their favorite hole and a trophy will be given to the winning build team!

If you are free on Saturday March 20th, come check out a new structure in Salem, play a $5 round of mini-golf, and see what the build teams were able to produce!
