AJ Nash wins Merchant of the Year Award

Some of Keizer’s top volunteers were recognized at the most well attended First Citizen’s banquet Keizer had ever seen with over 360 people in attendance.

• Roland Herrera was named Keizer’s First Citizen.
• A.J. Nash received the Merchant’s Award.
• Don and Ann Lebold won the Service to Education award.
• Chet Patterson got the Heritage Award.
• Jim Dyer, who won the President’s Award.

Congratulations to AJ Nash, the 2009 Keizer Chamber of Commerce Merchant of the Year! AJ was recognized as the “Merchant of the Year” at the First Citizen’s Banquet in Keizer on February 6th.

The Merchant of the Year Award is given to an individual and/or business that did the most in 2009 for the Keizer Business Community. The nominee must be a Keizer Chamber member and have assisted in moving forward the organization’s objectives of;

• Developing the Current and Future Workforce
• Promoting Keizer
• Advocating for Business and Economic Fitness in Government Relations
• Servicing Members
• Assuring Organizational Vitality
